The family consists of 7 year old daughter, husband, and myself. We will be at WDW at the Wilderness Lodge from 6/5-6/12. We hope to spend one day at a water park.

Does anyone know of tables to requests or would recommend changing times to take advantage of special attractions? Can anyone recommend other places to eat? We will have 42 magical wishes to use for our vacation.

Since you are staying at WL....try WCC for dinner...your daughter will love it....
Also...try to do BOMA at the AKL for either breakfast or dinner..(our personal favorite)...
Prime Time Cafe at Studios...a true "hoot"....

Should you have the opportunity to visit WDW again....try the AKL instead of the WL....your daughter will thank you :bounce:

Thank you for the advice. We were thinking of doing Whispering Canyon Cafe. It has been a couple of years since we ate there.

What is BOMA? I can't think of anything with those initials.

Yes Prime Time can be fun. The first times was a blast. However, the last two times have not been quite as fun. I guess a lot of it depends on the server you get. Also, we knew what the previous servers did and knew what to expect.

We almost chose Animal Kingdom Lodge but thought we would be disappointed if we didn't get a room with a view of animals. Also, I was under the impression that it would be much more expensive. It does look intriguing though!

Boma is the AKL version of Ohanas - an African all you can eat buffet.

Haven't been there myself, but people rave (and rave and rave) - the other reason its the AKL version of Ohanas.

Apparently, the food is really good, but the desserts will send you into some sort of ecstacy.
