Hello,

My fiance and I are having trouble deciding on somewhere to eat after our intimate wedding at Sunset Pointe at the Poly. There will be about 5 to 7 of us including my DD. I would like to eat someplace close to there. Some of the places we are thinking aobut are CG, Narcoossee's, Artist Pointe, 1900 Park Fare??? :confused3 Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

From what I have heard, several of the restaurants you have listed are a bit on the noisy side. We are celebrating our first anniversary there next week and decided on Artist Point for dinner. Most people have said Artist Point is a bit more quiet and intimate than some of the other places. We are also eating at California Grill on a different night because I hear the food is so good. If you are looking for something extremely intimate, you should check into Victoria and Albert's. I'm sure they can get you in there if you are getting married in WDW. Also, if you are staying in a deluxe resort I think most of them have intimate dinners for two available through room service.

My suggestion would be Citricos. Very nice restaurant and close to the Poly. You didn't say how old your DD is but we've taken the two DN's age 8 and 13. By the way congrats on your wedding.

I was also thinking about Citricos..forgot to put it on the list. Our DD will be almost 10 at the time of the trip. Thank you for the congrats! :bride:

Citrico's, Citrico's, Citrico's, can you tell I love this restaurant...

Great food and I am sure if you let them know it is a special event they will make it even more special for you.

Artist's Point has always been one of our favorites. It has a romantic atmosphere (at least we think so) and the food is wonderful.

Thanks everyone for the responses. So far I'm leaning towards Artist Pointe. But I would love to hear more opinions. :)

I've eaten at all of the places mentioned, more than once each.

I would choose Citrico's and not think twice about it. We've never had a bad meal there, and it's a perfect place for a celebration. It's romantic and quieter than any other WDW restaurant except perhaps Bistro and V&A's...but the tables are so close together at Bistro it negates the quiet.

Citrico's is more elegant, easier to get to from Sunset Point (you can walk), and tends to draw less children.

I've had two meals at Artists Point. The first one was terrible, in fact I said it would be a cold day in hell before I went back. Well, after spending three days stuck in a house with no hot water, no tv, and a hurricane raging outside, when we checked into WL my nerves were too frazzled for Whispering Canyon, and the concierge got us into AP--so we tried it. What a difference the second time. We had a great meal with great service. Haven't been abck--not through any fault of their's--but will at some point.

That said, I've never had a bad meal at Citrico's, and the service has always been great--I've dined there at least half a dozen times. It's where I would choose my reception if I were getting married at WDW.

Anne
