Eventually, they discover the girl out in the brush somewhere; they do some more investigating, and accuse the sister of killing her, or having something to do with it. She deny's it, Gris does some more investigating, then accuses the parents fo killing the girl by giving her an OD of Oxycontin. The father breaks down, the mother gives Catherine some attitude, and accuses her of being a bad mother. Katherine brings her daughter to see a dead woman to "set her straight" and Doc Brown gives her guff for bringing her in. Katherine snaps at him.
Gris keeps investigating, and discovers that the dying brother intentionally OD his sister so she wouldn't have to go though any more pain, Gris asks why he didn't just kill himself, the brother eexplains it's an unforgivable sin (they met up in a church for this part), the brother tells Gris he is doing God's work for the dead people.
Then the brother says he'll be dead in 6 months anyways, so we won't even have time to go to trial.
Then handcuffs, and Gris looking up at the cross/Jesus at the altar.
