Need creative help - text for "borrow but return" sign for craft area?

I KNOW there are more creative folks than me out there...I'm coming up dry on this one!

I'm *almost* finished setting up and organizing a lovely little scrapping/craft corner in my house and already, family members are, ahem..."borrowing" the tape, scissors, etc. from MY space. I've had to track the items down - grrrrrr - throughout the house. It is in an open corner of the dining room, just off the living room and kitchen, so padlocking the area off won't work!!!!

I'd love to scrap a cute, funny, but EFFECTIVE sign to hang that puts everyone on notice that borrowing is ok, but return the stuff asap.

Anyone have any ideas for text and/or design? Love to hear your ideas...

Okay, I'll take a shot at it... How about the word Borrow with its definition: on a a sign.

i.e. BORROW: to receive with the implied or expressed intention of returning the same or an equivalent <borrow a book> <borrowed a dollar> b: to borrow (money) with the intention of returning the same plus interest.

or maybe "If you're going to use it, please don't lose it"

or Since it is mine, please don't leave it lay behind

Please return what you are taken, or I'll be frying more than bacon.

Hey Pinballfamily. Welcome to my corner of the boards. (PBF is one of my best friends and I think I may be partly to blame for bringing her to the "dark side" of scrapping tee hee).

How 'bout -

"Persons not returning borrowed items will be subjected to Tinkerbean's wrath"
Might not work with the kids, but your I know your DH will do anything not to have to deal with me
