Hey Everyone....making my way back to these boards. Kinda took a break after the breakup.

Anyway, I am in need of some artistic help. As many of you know I am a stained glass artisan and I do a lot of pride designs. I am stuck though...I want to make a just because I can gift for someone that is a Chef. For the life of me I cannot come up with a good design that incorporates the rainbow colors and something food or chef related. So come on boys and girls put on your thinking caps.... I want this gift to be special.

Rainbow Sherbert
Rainbow Trout
Cake with a Rainbow frosting design

I seriously thought of a six layer rainbow cake as either the whole cake with a missing slice, or a slice on plate. I just cant get the icing to a point that I like the design.

Rainbow shebert is usually only 3 colors, so I would need to tweak that. Maybe a take on a lid or label...That may have possibilities.

Rainbow trout, not sure about that one.

Here's a concept for you, courtesy of MS paint and stolen clipart :P

Ok. I have narrowed it down to two designs.
1- A knife block with 6 knifes protruding. the handles wold be colored

2- a cutting board, with a chefs knife (replica of her knife actually) resting on it. The board will have a center edge core of a rainbow strip. I'd add something else to board to give some eye pop.

A whisk.

Ok, I may have to sketch that out and play with it....I thought about a whisk...but my concept art looked more like a ballon than a whisk.

Find some whisk clipart on line to start with :thumbsup2
