I'm looking to do 6 nights in disney world May 2023 with 5 park days - not doing hoppers but doing genie +. We are looking to stay at beach club but have no idea what the price range will be since those dates are released yet. Family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids 3-9 years old. I've tried putting random dates in to get an idea but thinking theyre not accurate for what may 2023 will be. Am I looking at 7k for resort and park tickets?

If the type of room you're looking to book is available this year, price out that room and add about 5% for next year.

I think 8 nights at the Polynesian (Theme Park View) with 7 day park hoppers for 2 adults and one kid was about 10k? (we had a refund from 2020 we rolled over and upscaled).

That probably is about right for rack rate. I did a quick search Sun-Fri at BC standard view in mid-May 2022 and came up with $6.3K. I'm not sure if that includes tax, plus next year's rates are likely to increase, and if you are looking more towards the end of the month Memorial Day weekend will bump up the price as well. I think planning $7K without a discount is probably about right.

One and only thing for sure, if you stay at Disney your going to get stung.
10k ? For 7 nites , You gotta be joking. Stay out of the resorts, for little more than a hundred bucks a nite , every bit as nice, even better.

You might consider renting DVC points. You can stay for usually a considerable discount staying deluxe if you are willing to go that route. We did it one year at Beach Club Villas and had an amazing sray.

I use the mouse savers room rate schedules here https://www.mousesavers.com/2022-beach-club-room-rates-season-dates/ these are rack rates that are pre-determinded by Disney and do not change. The only way they go down is if you secure a discount.

As others mentioned, prices will go up some around memorial day and you also need to factor that in but I'd say $7K for room/tix is probably pretty close if you do a standard room.

Renting DVC points could help cut some costs but just my two cents a studio is not the best sleeping arrangement for a family of 5. Also, as of late, DVC rentals have not been that great of deals. Renting points involves a few extra steps and if you don't mind the leg work, can be of benefit but not always.

If you aren't against it, a cost saving alternative could be the Swan/Dolphin. The rates there are usually $200 less than the deluxes and sometimes you can snag some good deals via marriott or a third party travel site. Not as good of a pool as BC however, it's a great location.

Thanks! I have swan/dolphin on my radar if BC is too expensive. We will be going in the beginning of May to avoid Memorial Day price increase and crowds. I think only dolphin has rooms that accommodate 5 but could be wrong. I like that it’s in the epcot area like BC

Both Swan and Dolphin can sleep 5 with a roll away. Swan has queen sized beds and Dolphin has full size beds. Having stayed at both BC and Swan and Dolphin, the sizes of standard rooms are similar, I think BC standard rooms are a teeny bit larger.
