Need an idea....

I'm thinking about doing a custom cake. I have looked on all the cake chatter threads and haven't seen one w/ my "idea".

This will be for our 5th anniversary. I was thinking of an UP theme. Something w/ Carl and Ellie. But I don't know what. I was kind of thinking a topper like their two chairs. I don't know though

Any of you have some great ideas?? lol thanks so much!

I am getting a cake off-site from a bakery that delivers mostly because the on-site options haven't really excited me and for the cost, they should!

The bakery is called Buttercup Cakes and it's in Kissimmee... Dani is the owner and she'll deliver for 20 dollars, plus she's super nice!

I like the Up idea - they were such an inspirational couple!

What about a mailbox like the one they put up in front of their 'dream' house - with the handprints and their name painted on it? (You could paint your names on it instead, of course...) If the mailbox was open, then you could ask for balloons, flowers, the chairs, 'photos', spilling out.

Or what about a giant version of the grape-soda-bottlecap-with-a-safety-pin 'adventurer' badge she gave Carl as kids, which he wore in the whole movie?

The painting she did in their house showing her dream house on top of the mountain could lend itself to a lovely fondant-mosaic cake too.
