Need AK dining help and ROL dining help!!!!

I have a ROL dining package at Tusker house booked for a Friday night in August. At looking at the menu it doesn't look very appealing to me but neither does Tippins.

Do I really need the ROL dining package to get a decent seat for ROL. Or should I eat elsewhere and try to find a spot?

Any good dining recommendations?? Its for me my 16 year old twins and my 29 year old niece.

Right now, you need ROL dining or a FP+ for ROL. The theatre isn't big and most of it is devoted to those two channels. Be prepared to queue 1+ hour in advance for standby, possibly more for earlier shows.

We ate at Tusker last year for dinner with our kids who are younger. The food was good, not great, but there were so many options at the various stations that everyone found something they liked. Safari themed Mickey, Minnie, goofy and Donald all came by the tables, too, which was fun. That said, I don't have any desire to go back this year.

We will be back in June and have booked ROL dining package for Tiffins. With Pandora being open, I would rather use my FP selections on rides other than ROL; so the dining package was my only other way to guarantee a viewing of ROL.

Personally, i would book a FP for ROL if you are going to give up your dining pkg.

How about a Tusker House breakfast instead? There are common breakfast items on the buffet and the price is cheaper than dinner. We have a ROL Tusker House breakfast next month.

I would also recommend the Tusker House breakfast. They have pretty standard fare and it will be cheaper than dinner.
