We’re doing three days at WDW in December, and I booked FP today. I only booked two FPs so that I can keep checking to see if FOP becomes available. Should I just book the third FP, or stick with the plan and see if something opens up?

We have Navi River and Kilimanjaro Safari. I was thinking about the 3rd FP being Festival of the Lion King.

Thoughts?

Make all 3 FP reservations. We only made 2 for Epcot, thinking I'd pick up one later in the day. I didn't realize that you can't make a 4th FP reservation unless you actually use 3 first, so when Soarin appeared I couldn't take it because we'd only used 2. Even if it was just for a show that could have been changed if something better came along it would have been worth it.

You can still check if you have three. Just modify an existing FP to see what is available.

You can't book FOP if you have Na'vi because they are both tier 1. The only way you will see if FOP becomes available is to try to modify your Na'vi, it won't show up as a available if you attempt to add a new one or modify the Lion King.
