For some reason I just can't get motivated for this trip! Could use the restaurant experts out there advice. Our trip is soon - The good thing is it looks like a lot of restaurants are still available. We are leaving July 29th, there for 9 nights, on the dining plan. My kids are DS7, DD6 and DD4 and they are not adventurous eaters. I currently have adr's for Raglan Road, Cindy's Royal Table, Garden Grill/Askerhaus (we are spliting up for this one as DD6 hates characters), 50's Prime Time, Ohana, Teppan Edo.

I am thinking of adding a few of the following- we have never been to any of them: Chef's D France (lunch to try to see Remy), San Angel Inn (just cause of the atmosphere but I have read the food is bad?), Kouzzina (for DH mostly but not sure kids will like it - although maybe they will like the boardwalk) and/or Hoop Dee Doo. I am thinking we will pay for one or two meals OOP because we have disney rewards credits over $500.

Any thoughts? We have been to Coral Reef and Bier Garten which I like but was trying to think of new things. The only other thing I was considering was Whispering Canyon but I am afraid that might be kind of hard to get to compared to the other meals. We are staying at POR.

Any ideas? Can't be a character meal but I would like the kids to enjoy it.
thanks in advance!

My kids love Chefs de France. Also maybe GF Cafe, whispering Canyon.

You're doing a couple of my favorites: Ohana and Teppan Edo.

My family liked Chefs well enough and it was a great experience for my 6 year old to meet Remy, but the food was just okay. We had heard such great things about it that maybe our expectations were too high. The bread WAS really wonderful, but the salmon and spinach weren't any better than I could have made at home. The service was very good: quick and polite.

Have you considered La Hacienda during Illuminations instead of San Angel? It is on my list for next time. My family also loves Mama Melrose...very cozy atmosphere, great food, AMAZING service; and The Wave..cool atmosphere, beautifully presented food that tastes good, AMAZING service, and easy access to the MK from the monorail.

I agree that Kouzzina might not be a great choice for the kids. In the same area, though, how about the Cape May buffet dinner (breakfast has characters but dinner does not)? Or Captain's Grill?

Other possibilities: Yak & Yeti TS in AK. LTT in MK. Check online availbility for WCC if the kids like a noisy/high energy meal. HDDR is a very fun show for all ages, and ribs & chicken are very family-friendly foods. How about Rose&Crown in Epcot, too?
