Need advice please!

Shockingly my dh agreed to another disney visit next fall! I'm looking for opinions on what is the best week in October to visit (we'd like to go to MNSSHP 2x) and what is the best area/room to request in ASM. We went 10/31 - 11/7 this year and had a great time but would like to be at home for Halloween next year. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

pandamom, I too was there from 10/30 thru 11/7 this year. I actually prefered being in Disney for halloween and not having to worry about the candy my children were given!

Best area/room for what? In other words what are looking for? Close to pool, food court, parking, quiet area...?

We went the first week 3 years ago and it was empty!!! But to be honest it was 2 weeks after Sept.11th so that probably made a HUGE difference!! But I can say it was the best trip ever! No lines and only about 75-80 the whole week.
