I really don't know too much about credit card rewards/points. I tried to read through the "I love credit cards" thread but it just gave me a headache so I thought I would just ask directly. I got this offer in my email and I'm not sure if it is a good deal or not. I would like to be able to stay at the Dolphin/Swan resorts in the future so i'm thinking about dropping my Southwest Rapid Rewards card or my Disney Visa and getting this instead. I don't like having too many credit cards so I limit myself to just a couple.

"Earn 5 Free Night Awards after spending $5,000 on eligible purchases within 3 months of account opening* with your Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card. Each award valued up to 50,000 points. That's a total value of up to 250,000 points! Certain hotels have resort fees. Offer ends 7/16/25." annual fee is $95.

What do y'all think about this? Thank you.

if you post on the cc thread you will get the answer you need. i have never stayed in one of those but know i read frequently that those 5 free nights can be difficult to use as the room value on the marriott resort locations is frequently above the value of the offered free nite.

Great question, I'm thinking about giving up my Southwest credit card also - even though we get one bag free with it (for us and those traveling with us), the new expiration of points just make the whole Southwest card worth a lot less to me. This guy sometimes has helpful info on cards use too ... https://thepointsguy.com/

You could go to Marriott's website and put in the dates you are looking to stay and select the option to pay with points. It'll then show how many points you need so you could see if you could even get your stay for 50,000 points per night. I use Marriott alot with points and I'm not sure you could get those for that low of value.

Those certificates are able to be topped off up to 15000 more points but you would obviously need those extra points to do it. Even with the 65000 limit it will be hard to get a Swan Dolphin room during much of the year unfortunately. But that offer is a great value regardless
