Okay, I know I have over a year because we aren't planning to go until spring 2005, but I am trying to work out the timing of this trip. Easter will be March 27 that year and I know to avoid Easter time. I would like to go in March or April but don't want to run into huge crowds. When are typical spring breaks? Thanks for any info anyone can give me.

Disneywill be busy with various spring break and winter vaction folks from mid-February until after Easter/mid-April. The college breaks run in February/March with private schools typically also getting March breaks. Public schools tend to have February and/or April breaks that are usually around Easter.

Hey, what can I say? My dh gave the okay to the trip so I have to hurry up and plan it before he changes his mind ;) .

I am thinking my best bet might be to wait until late April/early May.

Check out when Mardi Gras is that year. There's a rush of Louisianians at that time. I don't know if it's really enough to make a difference, though.

Mardi Gras is always 6 weeks before Easter, so that shouldn't affect plans.

The suggestion I have is to book for two weeks after Easter. The school breaks are all over. I did that for my kid's first trip, and it worked out fantastic. Mid April is fantastic, weather wise and the crowds are smaller.

Its NEVER too early to plan a trip, in my opinion. We start planning the next one on the drive home, LOL!!!
