Which dinner show is better than the rest? Med. Knights, Arabian knights or Dixie Stampede? My mom want's to go to one. also do any of them have anything besides the typical booth seating. I've done med knight many years ago and the sliding down the seat thing was a pain. thanks

I haven't been to Dixie Stampede yet. Medieval Times and Arabian Nights both have tiered seating 'booths'. You may opt for VIP upgrade (guaranteed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd row seating), or it's first come/first serve seating unless you require preferred seating i.e., guests that are unable to climb stairs, etc. I believe all three ask that you arrive approximately 1 hour prior to showtime, and they start seating 20-30 minutes before the show. I can't remember if Medieval has regular tables, but Arabian Nights has 4 of them (Preferred seating tables). It's for those with wheelchairs, or again, people unable to climb stairs. When you arrive at either dinner theatre, you may want to go to the far side of the table and sit on the end. People tend to come in and get in at the beginning or ask others to scoot down. If you're already on the other end, they don't come over to your side, or at least you can get up easily and let them in. ;) They're all great dinner shows. I heard Arabian Nights was changing their show in January 2005, but I don't know the details yet.

Dixie Stampede has a great show and great food - lots of fun for everyone. The seating is arena style, however, except for the first row, there are individual chairs - not benches. I love that you don't have to crawl over the back of the bench to use the restrooms or leave the arena. Even with the front row bench style seating there are ample openings available so you don't have to crawl over people to get out.

We saw Arabian Nights on a crowded night during Thanksgiving last year.

We arrived about a half hour before and had the last row...

It wasn't that bad but the horses kick the dirt around and the ventilation isn't that great....

If you have anyone in your group sensitive to dust then USE the special behind glass seating they have. I am not asthmatic but I thought I couldn't breathe by the end of the show.

I've done Dixie Stampede and Arabian Nights. I thought the food was much better at Dixie Stampede but I liked the entertainment better at Arabian Nights. Dixie Stampede uses some sort of specially treated substrate that is dust free. I don't know if Arabian Nights does that. I'm not sure how old your mom is, but Dixie Stampede seems to attract a lot more seniors.
