Need advice- is DC worth $$ without Dolphins?

Help My husband and I would like to go to DC but are not interested in the Dolphin experience. (we are waiting to experience that on a cruise later on next year) Is DC worth the money without the Dolphin experience?? Thanks for all of your expert advice

I felt that it was. I didn't want to pay for the swim a second time, so we went for the nondolphin swim, and were not disappointed. I also did not use the aquatica/ seaworld pass. DC is paradise with or without dolphins.

if it was my trip i wouldn't go there at all, as it's not my type of park. but hey.. that's not the point!. there's loads to do as well as dolphins, including a lagoon, sting rays and well the obvious choice, chill on the sand.

I am the dolphin fanatic in the family. DH really is not all that interested. He has done the non-dolphin swim programme a few times and loves it. He spends a lot of the day in the aviary, but also swims in the tropical river, spends some time with the stingrays and snorkels in the tropical reef.

I just got back from our trip to Discovery Cove!We went on Dec. 19th. We loved it! We did everything and even though we loved it all we are strongly concidering going back next year to do it without Dolphin experience just to save money. We loved just being able to lay around and relaxing in paradise without worrying about anything. The food is great and everything is close togeather not much walking! If you need a break in your vacation to just relax in paradise. Go!!

Great! Thanks so much for all of your advice- it is very much appreciated! Last year we did the Epcot divequest and it was AMAZING!!!! So we really wanted to do the snoreking thing again except longer. I think we'll probably book!
