Need advice for CRT - breakfast or lunch? PPO or no?

Hi

Let's assume for a minute that I have options when it comes to CRT and booking times......

I was planning on going there for the earliest lunch one day in the part (around 11:30). This should work around my baby's nap time and allow us to get good use of the "quiet" morning park hours. However, lunch is a lot more expensive than breakfast. What do you all think of PPO CRT breakfasts? The reason I hadn't really considered it was I thought there was a good chance that we would spend more than an hour there, and I don't want to waste too much of the morning time. We're going to have to go to the MK on a non-recommended day during our trip. I thought our best shot would be to be there at RD, do a bunch of stuff in the morning and then have an early lunch. We could then do the less popular things, see some shows, walk around, etc without pressure. But if we could do an 8 am breakfast and be out around 9, then it wouldn't be so bad. I'm just worried we'd be there until 930 or so. Given the price, I don't want to feel rushed or stressed out about missing park time.

I'm hoping to do a PPO CP breakfast. We did that last time and while we didn't beat the RD crowd, we were out early enough not to have any issues. And we weren't rushed at all.

I'd appreciate your thoughts!

Most people love their breakfast. I thought it was just ok. I much prefer lunch but that's just me. If you are looking for good food and not necessarily a character meal, you might want to consider Liberty Tree Tavern.
If it's character interaction though, you might want to book a late breakfast and then stay while they transition over to lunch. It might take a while but if you are thinking about an hour, hour & half you might get the best of both worlds.

I think you could possibly make it out in a hour if you had the first seating available and the line for your photo with Cinderella wasn't too long. But if you end goal is to beat the RD crowd, I would definitely considered something else. CRT is so expensive you want to be able to enjoy your time and get your money's worth. We did dinner this past June and it took about an hour & 45 minutes. You might also consider doing a PPO at BOG. It is quick service and you can be in and out in 30 minutes if you use the advance ordering system. It isn't a character meal, but the atmosphere is nice.

The goal is to enjoy the character meal while still making our best use of park time. Our 5 year old daughter will really enjoy having time with the princesses and eating in the castle. From what I'm hearing, the last breakfast might be a good option. But if that's just after 10, I thought we'd be better off booking the early lunch (around 11:30) so we can use the park time in the morning to our advantage and then take a break. That way, if it takes us an hour and a half or even 2 hours we won't really care. It's crazy expensive so we are definitely going to see the princesses and I do not want to feel rushed at all. From what you've all said, the PPO may not be the best for us as I'd probably feel rushed.
