Need advice for Christmas break

I would go for Christmas and try to go ahead and see about some ADR'S,might be tough but hey it doesn't hurt to try. Then check daily after you check in and you may be able to get a few that way.Have a basic plan on what days you and DD would like to go to what park and what you would find would be best experience you would like to share with her at that park. This will be a magical memory that you and her will share forever. So I wouldn't overplan that it might become stressful staying on a tight every busy schedule.I would just let the magic happen at a very special time for you and DD. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

I am in the middle of formulating my plan, this is what I have done so far (I will be there 12/25 - 1/1) I have made PS ADR's for lunch and dinner for just about every day, I figure this way I have a way to take a break from the crowds and have a good meal. If you are having problems getting ADR's think about late lunches or early dinners or try Boardwalk or DTD restaurants.

I signed up at touringplans.com for thier suggestions. You plug in your date and park you plan to visit and it gives you a detailed plan of what attrctions to hit and when. For $7 I thought it was a good idea. I don't plan to follow it step-by-step but as a general guide.

I am also planning a spa day at Saratoga Springs. They have many spa treatments and yes for childen too! That may be great way to spend a few quiet hours with your daughter and maybe some lunch and dinner later at DTD. I think this will be a great respite from the parks and crowds.

Good luck on your planning.

Mike

My experience with that timeframe was several years ago, but it was relatively uncrowded in the MK up until 11 am. After that it was gridlock, but we experienced short waits up until then. We got a fastpass for Space Mountain about 1:30 which had a return time of 8pm. So...go early.
