Need Advice -- 1st Ever Neighbor Issue -- Update

I think the fence is a good idea

I have a neighbor who I had to call the police on because she would be up in my flower beds by my house letting her dog go about his business. I asked her over and over to stay out of my yard. (My house doesn''t have a back yard. My house and is all to the side. It goes my house a pretty good patch of land, 2 car garage and then a large fence in area w/my husbands work shop pool and swingset. When we moved in it was on a metal fence there)
Well one day I was up early 6am had to go get my sugar test for 2nd child. I had a small plastic pool in the yard between house and garage next to the deck steps. Well I look out the window of my bathroom there is neighbor sitting on my deck steps and her dog is peeing right on the pool. I start screaming out the window. She gets waves and leaves. I call the police because now I have had it. Policeman comes and goes over there and she slamms the door in his face after telling him "i was never in her yard"
Next day she is in my fenced yard sitting on the steps to my husbands shop.
So we called again she isn't allowed near my house or she was told she will have charges of tresspassing agaist her and we put up a large privacy fence now with a lock.

Just get a fence trust me you won't be sorry!!

That is just gross. I can't believe the nerve of some people.

BTW We are getting fence as soon as the weather cooperates.

They also drive/ walk through our yard to get to the back when they are doing yard work or visiting other neighbors, we don't really have a problem with that, a heads up for the driving would be nice, but whatever. She is a very nice person, but the dog thing is really bothering me. If you got this far thank you. Now how do I address this with her without coming off as the bad neighbor?

They drive through your yard? That would be more upsetting to me than the dog doing his business in my yard. How rude! I'm glad you all are getting a fence. It is very obvious these people have no sense of class. Sheesh.
