Hi everyone,
We got a CRT reservation for 12/8 at 5:15 right before the MVMCP for myself, my sister, and my mom to celebrate sis's 40th birthday. A few questions..

My mom is in a wheelchair, I'm assuming that won't be a problem? Did we need to specify that when we made the ADR?

Other question, Mom is not sure she wants to go. She is on a special diet, is afraid she wouldn't like the food, etc, and also doesn't have tickets for the party. She's kind of an anxious person and I think the whole thing just might be too much for her. Could my sis and I still go if the ADR is for 3 and only 2 of us show up?

Excited to be going in DEC for the first time! :cool1:

there is an elvator at the restaurant so that will not be a problem getting upstairs. if you and your sister are attending the christmas party, then keep in mind your mom will have to leave the park(everyone gets a wristband that has a party ticket). as far as the menu, your mom could ask to have something prepared for her. grill a steak or chicken breast plain, etc. i would encourage her to go just to enjoy the castle and celebrating your sister's b-day! be sure to have the celebration noted on the ADR and pick up sis a "today is my birthday" badge at city hall. enjoy! :earboy2:

yes you can still go if your third declines.... Call the restaurant before hand and explain your mom's dietary restrictions to them and see what they can do.Disney is quite accomodating

There is an elevator to get up to the seating area at CRT, but you also need to be aware that there are 2 levels of seating in the restaurant. I'd probably call back and let them know that one of your party has a wheelchair. Also mention it when you check in so that they give you a table on the top level (the other level is down a step or 2 from the top).
Also, she should be aware that the handicapped accessible restroom in on ground level. There are no restrooms on the restaurant level - the non-handicapped restrooms are down about half a flight of stairs.

For the food questions - WDW is very good about accomidating special dining needs. I don't have the phone numbers handy, but you can call the dining number and get assistance.
