Need a reliable AAA Disney agent.

It seems the best way to go is to book with AAA for our weeklong stay in August since I would like a room discount and the dining plan. I've never given control of my vacation to an agent and am a bit uncertain that just calling AAA may get me someone with less Disney knowledge than I have. That would be frustrating.

I have read that I do not have to use an agent in my local AAA office. Is that true? If so can anyone recommend a knowledgeable and friendly AAA Disney expert who could quote me and book for me and will not be uptight if I make changes along the way.

My AAA membership is lapsed but if I can get the package I want I will be happy to renew.

I'm looking for a good one, too. We went through AAA last year and I wasn't satisfied with my TA. I wish we could just book the packages ourselves, but if you want dining, then you need to book it through a AAA TA.

ok....can someone suggest an office where I can book my package with. My TA is very out of touch with the whole Disney experience.

We've used Susie Preskitt from Small World Vacations numerous times and I know she can apply the AAA discount...pm me if you want her deets. She is amazing and we have never had a problem. I like booking through her b/c she keeps watch for the codes and applies them for us if they come out as well. One time she also magic'd up a signed picture of Buzz Lightyear that was waiting for us in our room for ds when we got there!

I can't reccommend her highly enough.

good luck, whatever you decide! pixiedust:

If you want the dining package, you have to book through a AAA agent, not another travel company. If you only want the room only discount you can use whoever you want or do it yourself.

and I wish I could give you my agent's name, but she doesn't seem to know didly-squat about Disney. I have asked her several questions and later found out the info she gave was not correct. good luck finding one!
