Need a referral for the current DVC purchase incentive?

Don't the current incentives expire on the 15th or 20th? I'm not sure which date applies to what as there were so many different promos running depending on whether it was the initial buy-in or an add-on. Either way, anyone on the fence should call their guide and at least get the paperwork started.

(i keep hoping that the new bay tower will be annouced so that the akl won't sell out before we have a chance

Heading to WDW on Sept. 19 for a week....DH and I have been thinking about DVC and although he won't be along for this trip, thought I might find out more while I'm there. Saw some of the recent posts that the current offer is set to expire around the 20th. Won't be able to check out the DVC until the 23rd...what are the chances that a new offer will be out, or do you think they will honor the old offer if I mention it? Also, we live in Mexico...do they sell to International visitors (we are Canadian, but reside in Mexico)? This may sound dumb, but what is a "guide" and why does everyone seem to love theirs so much?? What do they do for you that is so special? Thanks for any info.

The guide is your DVC representative or person selling you the points. Ours is Larissa and she was very helpful went we bought in Jan. 2006 never having done the tour. We purchased over the phone. They allowed us the referral of a current dvc member so that we did receive the current promotion. This was a dvc member we had been talking to. I don't know if they will allow current deal after the 23rd.
