Need a hotel in Cincinnati, OH

My dd has a cheer comp at xavier university on the 19th and need a place to stay there. I am not sure of the area so looking for a ok hotel. Don't want expensive just not smelly and no bugs

There is a handful of DISers from Cinc who helped me awhile back with a hotel in that area. We have stayed at Baymont Inn and Suites off 270, but there are a lot of choices in the 270 worthington area (I think that is what it is called)

Worthington is just outside of Columbus, not Cincinnati--

I would stay either directly downtown, or the north I275 loop area-some of the hotels just outside of downtown are not desirable. The Florence KY/airport areas are nice too.

The Blus Ash area is fine-so is Sharonville, Mason, etc. Just expect a little drive to Xavier.

Use priceline or hotwire-we never spend more than $40.00 to sleep near Cincinnati.

check under cincinnati ohio hotels and just book through that hotel There are alot of nice hotels in downtown cincy. so is newport kentucky, Blue ash, norwood.

We always stay at the Embassy Suites in Blue Ash for our hockey tournaments. It is a perfect hotel for groups, plus a HUGE free breakfast everyday, and free drinks (yes alcoholic!) every night at a managers reception. One tends to need that when one is traveling with teenage boys.

The Millenium in Cincinnatti is pretty nice and always has specials .. Like we stayed there a few months back for 100 a night BUT that included a 100 meal credit!!!! So we ate our meals for FREE!

The Blue Ash area would be fine. Also, there are a few Residence Inns near Cincy...they are usually pretty nice and almost always include a breakfast.

Absolutely positively stay away from Kings Luxury Inn in Mason, OH. We stayed there last September with a cheer group who were competing at Kings Island and it was a disaster! We found out after checking in they rent by the hour....nuff said.
