Need a hotel for one night

Hi - we need a hotel for just one night before we check into Beach Club on Nov. 27th. I checked about adding an additional night at BC and All Seasons Travel told me it would be 350.00!

Is there somewhere else I should ask for a better price?
Would you suggest we stay in the parks that night or in a DD hotel?

I tried to get a reservation at All Star Sports for that night but All Seasons Travel said it was full. Does anyone know if they mean they couldn't make any more bookings or of the hotel really is full?

Hi I would try the Swan or Dolphin or hotwire for just one night. Have fun on your trip.

Just checked your dates on Hotwire, it looks like they offer the Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa for $64 per night. This is the 4 star one that has restaurant/pool/fitness/business/golf/tennis/spa icons. I did not see the Swan or Dolphin come up on that date.

If u wanna stay somewhere cheap in WDW I would suggest the ALL-STAR Resorts they're cheap and fun!They would be most enjoyed for one night!If your not sure look at some of the pictures of the AS's on this site!

The All-Stars should suit you well.

Go for the Wyndham Palace for the night.It's beautiful and cheaper than the All Stars and very close to everything.

One nice thing about staying onsite is they will move your luggage to the Beach Club for you. That way you can go to the park in the morning and return to the Beach Club and your luggage will already be there. I've also read that the Swan/Dolphin will do this, too, even though they aren't owned by Disney. The Dolphin is right next to the Beach Club, which would make your move easier.

A while back there was an interesting thread about the Swan and Dolphin on hotwire, and how to tell the hotel that you would "probably" be getting by the amenities listed for the hotel. Most of this information can be found on this web site - BetterBidding - that the was put up by the genteman that started that thread. If you go to the Priceline/Hotwire hotel listings area on his site here you will see under the Orlando WDW area the Wyndham Palace is listed with the amenities that I had posted in the message above.

In addition, if one does a search on "Packages" on hotwire for the dates that one is curious about you will find that the packages are listed the hotel names shown ! Look for the hotel with the same star rating and the exact same amenities and you should have the name of the hotel that you were looking at on the hotels page.

Though I have yet had the need to use Hotwire for a hotel stay, I have read many posts where quite a few people have gotten the specific hotel they wanted at excellent prices. In the thread that I referred to at the beginning of this message alot of people were getting the Swan/Dolphin for $81 a night - a fantastic rate !

I have used Priceline in the past, but I do believe that if I have a need in the future for a nice room for a night or two that I would most likely use Hotwire. The cost may be a few dollars more vs. Priceline, but having greater knowledge of what hotel you may get before you purchase is worth it to me.
