Actually it's called "Fall Celebration". I need a quick craft and some non-competitive games. The game can't be too loud or much movement as the classroom is more than full and there's no room to move around.

We can't do anything with food--unless it's fresh veggies/fruit, but only fat free dips with them. Only Roarin' Waters Capri Sun is allowed to drink (other than bottled water) and one small store-bought Rice Krispies Treat for the "sweet".

Soooo....any ideas for me?? Thanks for any help and ideas--I can really use them!

One year, the head room mom for my classroom had stations with educational games, such as Apples to Apples, Boggle, etc. My kids love playing games and it was great fun!

Board games are a great idea!! thanks so much! We have a whole 40 minutes to enjoy everything as quickly as we can!! :lmao:

Any ideas for a quick craft??:goodvibes

Another option for a game is Bingo -- that's a favorite of all the classroom parties around here. I think there might even be a website where you can create your own bingo cards using a fall celebration theme.

ETA: the bingo games sometimes can get a bit noisy, but if the caller uses a quieter voice, the kids usually figure out that they have to be quieter too, or they can't hear what's being called!

Team versions of Jeopardy with categories like "Vampires" and "Disney Princesses" would probably go over well.

At my old school we divided the kids into 2 teams (small class because it was all special ed) and each team got to work with 1 teacher to design a secret surprise costume for the other teacher.

The rule was they couldn't spend any actual money, but they could liberally raid the art supplies. I would get a note telling you what to wear that day. It had to be something they'd seen me wear recently so the kids kept notes on what color shirts and pants I wore.

My favorite was the year they made me a hermit crab -- very creative.
