Am I correct in understanding that these are to be used for additional purchases (mugs, etc.) and not for the pre-ordered photopass CD itself? (ie, the photopass CD is $99, and the 20% code does not apply - it will not make the photopass CD $79, right?)

you can use the discount on the 99 dollar preorder... I used a 20% on my preorder in may!

I remember when this 20% code came out earlier in the year and some posted that they were able to use it for the pre-buy CD. However, I believe that Disney corrected this rather quickly and it was no longer valid. When I first entered the code it it worked. A few days later I tried it again and the code was no longer valid for this purchase.
