Nedd some free dates in November or December!!

I am trying to make reservations at SSR sometime in Nov. or Dec. and I am running into it being full everytime! What the heck? I know, I should have not waited this long to try and make a decision but I have never had this problem before with SSR.

Anyway, has anyone gotten a week in those two months lately?

Thanks for the link. I did not know that was there. But my dates that I called about today are not on the list but they are not avail. I updated to reflect my conversation with MS today.

On Aug. 23rd I got 4 nights at SSR in a 2 br. Then added the next night on the 24th. On the 25th I was able to get the last two nights of my 7 nights at OKW. GOOD LUCK

Do you know if other resorts were full, too? I'm a little nervous about all the SSR developers' points out there with the AKL incentive.

While there are some stories about members getting reservations on very short notice (usually for fewer than 4 nights), it is becoming increasingly difficult to get last minute reservations. And, I would consider 2-3 months prior last minute, especially for DVC. Add to that that you want a holiday period and high member use time, I am not surprised at all. But in my opinion the most important factor and the biggest reason you are having this problem is the "new" restricted Developers Points. If you want to use them at WDW (v. II trade or Disneyland), then they are only good for SSR. So surprise, surprise now SSR is full. And SSR will probably be full more often over the next year while all the new AKV owners use these points.

Wow - thanks for all the info. I am not sure if the other places were full as we really wanted SSR.

I know that we waited to long. We are trying to sell our house so we did not want to make plans just in case we needed to be moving at that time. We all know how the housing market is so we decided just to book a trip and not worry about it. So I know it is our fault for waiting to long. I am just disappointed that it is so full. It was always so nice and easy to get into.
