Hi Dave, I can't really recommend any particularly without knowing what your tastes are but, personally, some of our favourites that are not on your list would be...

Kona Cafe (dinner)
'Ohana (dinner)
Crystal Palace (breakfast)
T-Rex (dinner)
Nine Dragons (lunch or dinner)

Yes, Yachtsman is a signature and it is 2 credits, but the day you arrive, you won't use your TS credit (because you'll arrive later in the evening) and we always use that credit to go to the Yachtsman (because it's worth it if you're a steak lover). Also, a lot of people go to SeaWorld or Universal while they're there and don't use their TS credit on those days either.

Hmmmmm got me thinking now...it does look very nice. Are there any restrictions on the menu if using the dinning plan. Last time we went we would use our TS after returning from US and SW but then we had lots of CS left at the end.

Any one ever used their CS for breakfast when visiting SW or US?

Last time I think we had CS on the first night then used our last TS for a good meal before leaving. How do others do it?

We eat CS the night we arrive and use the spare TS for a signature meal. On times when we've had a leftover one because of visits to other parks we've booked a character breakfast for the day we fly home. However, now the children are older they can manage an evening TS after a day at Sea World or Discover Cove. We do struggle to use all the CS credits if we spend a couple of days off site and have used them on occasions for breakfasts to get rid of a few. Not really the best use of them but better than them going to waste.

On the first night, we're usually too tired to go out to a TS so we tend to get a CS and use that TS credit for a signature. We tend to go to Olive Garden for dinner when we're at one of the non-Disney parks and have an extra there which we sometimes use for a dinner show or an extra character meal. Seaworld we usually get the all day eating wrist band anyway, so we have extras there, but the easiest place to get an extra TS is the first night meal because no one coming from the UK usually feels like going out to eat that night.

Another thing we sometimes do is have one night on CS (I love the turkey dinner at POR) to gain extra TS for more character meals.

Personally, I think a meal at the Yachtsman is a MUST, it's the only restaurant our whole family will absolutely not miss. Even our DD8 loves her Yachtsman steak skewers!
