Wow. That was you!? Beautiful pictures, from what, the 25th Deck? I had been to VilleQuebec (by train, Feb'19) and yes. took that funicular up & walked down. Very touristy, for good reason. Does not disappoint.
We are on NCL Getaway next week from Norlns and well, I am expecting to be disappointed in some way 'cause it's not Disney, even though our first NCL last year wasn't awful. If DW doesn't get food poisoning and I don't hate all the $.05 and $.10'ing that NCL does, the Phil<=>StLawrence itinerary sounds great.
More to come.
Haha. The ship is not that tall. But looking down from the Fairmont Chateau to the ship is that much of an elevation change.
I will admit the view of the ship with the beautiful leaves was snagged from Safari. I get some good shots, but not this one. The view from the buffet with the glass reflecting is truly one day we were there.
I think MSC may have been the most annoying at trying to get you to purchase things onboard. NCL knew everyone had drinks, WiFi and specialty dining already (if they wanted it).
Are you going to Roatan? I’ve seen videos of the NCL port there - beautiful water.
And we took a small! boat from Belize City to a small island in the edge of the reef for an afternoon of snorkeling during a layover between weird flight times. Also beautiful water.
You are probably in a diver’s dream itinerary.
When going to dinner, early or late = less wait.
I did enjoy my B2B enough to buy the future cruise deposits. Two $250 certificates gave a $250 onboard credit (which applied to any charge on your folio, including the certificate, itself). I used one a month later and have one I expect to give to my niece (they can be used by anyone). So, yes, I am okay with the experience. Possibly because it’s not another Disney Caribbean cruise. The trivia is good. Stage shows, meh. I like the outdoor promenade with seating.
New Orleans - my mind goes to Central Grocery Muffaletta.
I hope each sojourn you take provides you with positive experiences.
Laissez les bons temps rouler and Bon Voyage!
