A couple from our church just found out that the husband has less than a year to live. I think it would be really cool if we could get together a group to go to their house and do some Christmas carolling. I guess the problem is, they live about 30 minutes away from here and the last thing I want is for them to feel obligated to have a bunch of people invade their house after standing in their yard singing. Is there any way I can bake some cookies and pass out some hot chocolate after singing and before we leave and that would be enough? I haven't gone carolling since I was little and I wasn't in charge of putting it together so I am pretty clueless but would really like to do this if we can.
