Who do you think is going to replace Leo?

My bet is CJ - but I think they are going to find Leo alive & it will be an "acting" Chief of Staff position for awhile.

What will Jimmy Smits & Alan Alda be doing? Does anyone know what characters they are going to play?

I think you are right. Alan Alda will be playing a Republican that wants to run for President. I think Jimmy Smits will be playing a Democratic candidate. Josh might be leaving the White House to work for him. Then he and Donna could actually date, since he wouldn't be her boss anymore. Plus, if CJ's not the Press Secretary, the reporter--Danny--that she had the thing for could become PS and they could date!

I honestly haven't a clue which way the story line is headed. I was so bummed about Leo. I am hoping that he has just run off somewhere and pop up alive and well. I think Alan Alda is suppose to be playing a Republican Senator.

A Senator would make sense. I was wondering about the candidate theory - didn't they just have their election last season?
