That twitter link that PP posted says a 10/23 grand opening. Has anyone confirmed if it did in fact open to the public on 10/6? Or has it been pushed back to 10/23?

I saw fb posts that it opened yesterday and food was pretty good.. Burgers and such

It's the official grand opening. The giant jumbo torn won't be on until then. From now until then it's open to work out the kinks.

I'm so pumped!! If the food is good this will be a huge success for Universal!!

It only opens for Dinner around 4:30pm right now. We went last night. I like it a lot better than NASCAR and I think it'll do very well there. Grand Opening is 10/23 and lunch openings should come around then as well.

Yumm-o!!!!!! That was the menu item that stood out to me, too! Were they delicious!?!?

Yes, it was yummy.

DS had the chicken sliders app.

I had pull pork sandwich with TT.

DW had bbq chicken salad.

Dis Unplugged Universal Edition just put out a review on this. Overall, their consensus was that the food was good save for some variations on what they ordered versus what was listed on the menu. Giant menu, lots of options. Not as many TVs around as they anticipated being a sports bar, but it's possible more could be added before the official grand opening. Other than that, just a few hiccups in service they likely experienced due to it being so new. Worth a listen, and I believe they added photos to the site as well.

I was cringing listening to the fiasco that was their experience with the hostess. Yikes!

I can't wait to try those blue cheese chips!!!!
