Well it is with some sadness that I start this thread. Last year low-key suggested I get it going. I refused and told him it was not the same without him starting it.
And that was the truth, and that thought still remains. Thought of him a lot during All-Star Weekend in Cleveland. Miss you Jason.

But in the end he did start it last year, and I did not realize. That mistake brought us vintage Jason - Jason biggin' up Jason. Laughing

So with a smile and a sigh, Who ya got?

I am going to watch one or two games in the first round and then give mine. I didn't even realize my beloved Valanciunas was now with New Orleans, until the Play-in games. So I will give myself a minute for my picks..

How I love the first round!

Very right, Lisa. Missing Jason here, a lot. He had a way to keep things light, in perspective.

Well, I like the Bulls, but do not think they will make it past Milwaukee. But, they have made progress, back to the playoffs first time in 5 years. For the whole prize, I have to be realistic and go with Phoenix.

Give us an 'insider' tip, Jason, who will it be in the end?

The NBA has resumed playing? LOL.
I was shocked that someone still watches the NBA. I was a huge Laker's fan going back to the the days of Magic, Kareem, Worthy, and Cooper. Then Lebron showed up and I haven't watched a game since.

Well, I am in Sacramento where the Kings sold out for years just because they were new to the city. People who didn't know a thing about basketball or care about basketball went to games just to have a good time. Then they talked the city of of $255 million to help build a new stadium. Just what a Billionaire owner employing Millionaires needs, $255 million of taxpayer money. They aren't even entertaining anymore.

So Bucks and Suns, with a Phoenix win?
Bucks in six, lol. That was the catchphrase last year.
Hoping for a repeat!
Against?

So much fun. "I'm a shallow nerd".

You know because Jason was old school, there was some chatter about his rascal ways going too far. But you know what Dan he never ever patronized me, not once on these threads - over the years. And it happens. So that juxtaposition always made me smile.

As for Chicago, it was hard for me to watch as DeRozan can be his worst enemy at times, especially in the playoffs. And I want the best for him - well unless we face him, laughing.

I felt the Bulls have the ability to have quite the series. There is always an abundance of wiggle room in my head when watching Milwaukee, despite the championship.

I love me assassins and troublemakers on the court.

Loving Morant, Caruso and could watch Jimmy Butler play all day long.

Even the local news was saying what an "ugly" win that was. lol. I'm really hoping they were just rusty from too many days off. They fell apart every time Giannis was on the bench...

Jason was a classic for sure. Miss him. :(

I was thinking the Bucks were on their way to another blowout, but the Bulls made a game out of it. Looked sloppy on both sides last night.

They haven't been entertaining in almost 20 years. Of course the year when they were jobbed by the refs in favor of the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.

But here the Warriors finally have all their players back except James Wiseman. When healthy I don't think any team has more talent than the Warriors, and that includes the Suns. The only weakness it at center, although the idea is that their crazy good shooting will make up for it because other teams just can't match up well.

I have not made my pick, but interesting enough my mind has been going towards them.

(But then again every single year I suck at my picks! :drinking1:laughing:)
