Could be the fake cardboard fans like in the MLB. If you've seen the recent exhibition games. DH and I find it hilarious....the cardboard fans and cheering sound effects added. Cracks us up.
I've watched a couple games today. The atmosphere reminds me of summer league games. IMO, the baseball games I've seen have better pumped in crowd noise. The Arena looks really good!! But it’s so quiet you can hear the players shoes squeaking on the floor..
Scrimmage night for The Raps & Rockets.
It’s good to see basketball on my tv tonight!![]()
Part of that is because they have floor mics. The Arena looks really good!! But it’s so quiet you can hear the players shoes squeaking on the floor..![]()

We prefer to watch the Rays over the NBA, although I'm not loving the game right now.It sounds like a game in a high school gym.. lol!
But i’m not complaining.. it’s good to have basketball to watch. Tried watching the Jays/Rays season opener baseball game.. but keep going back to b-ball.
Would be interesting to see how that would work with all the teams and season length.Executive Director of the NBPA is saying there could be a need for a bubble for the entirety of the 20-21 season as well. I’m sure Disney would love to be the host of that bubble.

Yeah unless they go the MLB route and severely limit the season length. Otherwise that’s a long time away from families.Would be interesting to see how that would work with all the teams and season length.
I read somewhere that families can join them in about a month or so.. is it accurate?Yeah unless they go the MLB route and severely limit the season length. Otherwise that’s a long time away from families.
Yes when some of the teams have been eliminated.I read somewhere that families can join them in about a month or so.. is it accurate?

I think they'd have to look at doing it in batches, with kind of a group play approach, so teams could have kind of a couple week on/couple week off kind of situation. It would make it tough for testing though before the teams return to the bubble - players would almost have to stay somewhat isolated at home with continuous testing to make the returns work without long delays.Yeah unless they go the MLB route and severely limit the season length.
