do you receive the navigators for the whole week when you embark? or do you receive them day by day? just wondering how much we can plan the week so we don't over-do-it the first few days in fear of something not being offered later in the week. thanks!

The kids Navigators are broken down by age and the whole week is in one Navigator.

The "Adult" Navigator comes each night in your stateroom for the next day. You can review samples at some of the review sites often talked about here like www.dcltribute.com. this helped me pre-plan what we wanted to do each day.....

My dd will be 7, but almost 8. I will probably put her in the 8 yo club. Will they give me a navigator for both? or do they only deliver the one specifically for your child's age?

I'm assuming they deliver these to your room? or do you pick them up elsewhere? Do you get the first one somehow before you embark?

You get your first adult navagator when you check in at the Port.

The kids navagator was given to us when we checked my DS(9) into the kids club. We also had him moved to the 10-12 group so they gave us that one.

Extra navagators are available during the day and the night before at the main desk in the lobby. Since they only give you one in your room, I was always swinging by the desk to pick up extras.

Have Fun!

It seems like they had all of the navigators set out in the club. You could pick up any navigator you wanted. I picked up all the age groups just to see what was available.

Cindy,
I've been wondering about how hard it is to move kids up in the clubs. My boys will be 7 1/2 and 9 when we cruise in May, and the younger one is majorly bummed that he will be in a different group and with 5 yr olds. :( Was it hard for you to move your son up? I'm going to try to get both my boys in the 8-9 group...keeping my fingers crossed. It will make our cruise much more enjoyable!

Its totally at the discression of the counselors. They didn't give me a hard time about it. They did tell me he would be on a trial run, and if it didn't work out they would put him back with the younger group. My son is a grade a head in school, so his every day classmates are a 1/2 year to a year older than he is. He fit right in with no problem.

Unless they are really full on 8 year olds, I doubt they will give you a problem with moving the younger one up to the 8-9 year old group.
