Navigating the My Disney Experience (MDE) Web Site and App

So there's a Help Desk for the app? I got an error message when I tried to associate my Premier AP to my account. It said that my pass had already been assigned to another user's account. I'd like to check that out so I won't run into any issues with my December trip. Anyone know how to get tech help?
Mine says same thing but it's my account it's associated with ( yes I know this as I put in info and than while trying to help me a cm had me go thru adding it to my account), no one else would have reason or care to want my AP number.

Best I can tell you is call 407-566-4985 use option 5. This is number I used to get my "old AP" number and get me into AP website. Write down that number as I've had to reenter it a few times.

The website keeps randomly changing the times of my reservations! I have the emails to confirm the original times, but when I call up, the dining specialist always sees the random times that MDE creates. This has happened 3 times already - so I have to keep checking every couple of days, just in case!

For my earlier issues wiht MDE, I have had good luck emailing using the help link at the bottom of the webpage (I use the desktop version for this). I fully explained the issues as I understand them (e.g., AP not linking to site), and they gave pretty good help in return email, including "sorry, we fixed it, try it now" kind of help.

where do you go to enter DVC member info??

I think that you can log in to MDE with the same credentials that you use to login to the DVC member site. If you have reservations made through DVC points, they should show up in MDE, or if they don't then you can add them by using the confirmation number (I just did that a few days ago).

It's not displaying even though Disney said it's supposed to in 'What's New in Version 1.3.5'.

My DVC Affiliation displays correctly on the MDE website, but not on the iOS MDE app.

I'm sorry. I need new glasses, or else I've just been reading too much stuff here. I could swear that you were asking where the MDE website displays the affliction!! And I was thinking "Wow, it does medical diagnoses too?" :lmao:

Sadly, that seems to be happening more and more to me lately...especially when reading the DIS on my phone :)

As an update. It seems that the Magic Bands and Cards information is now available on the MDE site under My Profile.

Unlike the App, I can see the Magic Band/Card that is assigned to me as well as my family. On the App, I could only see the ones assigned to my family.

The site shows that I have one assigned to me and two that I manage (assigned to my wife and daughter). Clicking on a card gives you the option to deactivate it. Once deactivated, it cannot be used until it is reactivated. Apparently that can also be done anytime through the site (haven't tried it, not planning to!)

I assume that's how you can manage multiple tickets and decide which one to use per trip.

I still do not see the ticket assigned to my son, which is a non-RFID ticket, but atleast this is a step in the right direction...

Interesting. The site now wants me to link my pass to myself or one of my family...the problem is it is giving me an ID that doesn't match my annual pass, or any of the others...so I have no idea if it is mine or not. :)

In the app, I can see the magicbands/cards assigned to my kids (which I manage), but not myself or my wife.

Thanks for the new post!! On Saturday(?) I was able to add AP numbers for my entire family using the iPad app. DH's registered correctly, mine and DS's did not (I manage all accounts). Magic Bands briefly showed up (2 each) and the promptly disappeared a few hours later.

Just now, I logged into MDE on my laptop and my AP info was there and I can now check AP rates.

However, I cannot see any ticket info for DS or DH today...

I was interested to see a survey pop up today when I went to the website. I of course, took it and rated everything poor. The website is so frustrating and I avoid it at every cost!!!

I guess Disney is finally realizing that people are complaining about the website and maybe, (hopefully) are trying to figure out a way to fix it!

Also, I didn't get a chance to read the whole thread yet but if we have AP Vouchers, are we able to register them in the system somehow until we get our actual APs?

sorry if this has been asked or discussed, but any word on if MDE will also provide wait times?

It already does...has for a long time. :)

115 minute wait at Splash Mountain right now, FP return times 5:45pm-6:45pm.

My MDE App was automagically updated a while ago to v 1.36:

What’s New in Version 1.3.6:
NEW Global Navigation lets you quickly find Things to Do, plan your vacation, manage your account and view Help & Support. Now you can:
• Access Wait Times and Disney Character appearances right from the Global Nav
• Delight in streamlined linking for Resort Reservations
• Scan your tickets and passes with your phone or tablet to link them to your account
• Enjoy additional fixes and performance

I don't really see much difference, to be honest... Still slow... :confused3

Android or iOS? v 1.3.5 (for both android and iOS) was released on 6/19 with the same list of changes.

I have 1.3.6, updated some days ago. (Correction: Looks like it was yesterday, must have been in a bunch and didn't notice)

I've noticed that if they need to rush out a bug fix that has something to do with phone support or installation issues, they'll increment the version but not change the description.
