Navigating the My Disney Experience (MDE) Web Site and App

The whole point of even doing the online check in was to expedite our morning. We are arriving early early in the am and plan to drop our luggage and go straight to the park. I wanted to avoid a lengthy check in process.

I would call the hotel you are staying at.. Ask them if them see that you are checked in..
They should be able to see if you have or not..

Please let us know how this works out.. My check in date is coming up at the end of the month!
 
Can anyone log in to any of the Disney sites now? My account isn't working on any of the sites...

Yes, lots of us are having problems (seems most people are reporting it on the DVC boards), I phoned MS and was told 'it's a known issue and we're working on it'.

They don't know when it'll be fixed. Doesn't bode well for FP+ does it??!!
 

On the main MDE web page, do you see the link "Modify Check-in?" like in the screen shot below? If so, I think you're good to go. If not, then I would try the check-in process again.

They don't know when it'll be fixed. Doesn't bode well for FP+ does it??!!

Maybe that's he key...I went to the DVC site first, and now I can't log in to any of them - even tried ESPN...time for a cookie flush later...
 
I cancelled a ADR, and wanted to schedule another, and when I click on the restaurant I want, it tells me to call. I go into the regular WDW site, and I can find a time.

I also need to book MagicalExpress, but it looks like I have to call. I did make my last payment today, and it was all automated. When I asked to speak to a CM, I was on hold over 45 minutes and I hung up. I guess I will try tomorrow morning.

Seems Google Play has an update for the android app. Now up to version 1.3.2 (even ahead of the iOS - :scared1:).

What’s New in Version 1.3.2

  • Build and manage your own personalized itinerary, including dining reservations, personal notes and reminders
  • Share itineraries with family and friends
  • Even more location information, including spas, events and tours, and destination details

I was so happy to see this. I can now see my room ressie, my family members travelling with me and my profile. All in time for me to make my dining ADRs on Monday.:cool1: Hopefully the 180+10 will be working now so I won't have to call.

Regarding resort reservations on updated app, I still was not able to find where it is- the "link reservations" still only allows dining_ i did see the google play "small print" said more reservation info "coming soon"

Click on ...More and you will see My Reservations on that page. It's not very easy to find unless you play around. I would have expected to find My Reservations
in the My Plans part. Go figure. I'm just glad it's finally there.

This is the same on the iOS app.

Hoping I can remove these issues from the front page? Anyone other than Piglet33 having luck?

Problem: Multiple users report there is no My Plans tab.
Problem: Multiple users report that resort reservations cannot be found.
 
I'm also wondering if there's a difference now between the Android version 1.3.2 and the iOS version 1.3.1. In the what's new, I don't see anything that I can't do on the iOS version, except perhaps managing reminders. Is there something new there on the Android?
 
Thanks- i found room reservation! Agree that odd that room reservation only in "more" section, not in plans. I think another new thing is the "notifications" link, where prresumably it will list upcoming dining reservations (and maybe fp+ when available)

Great!

Still waiting to see how the notifications work. So far the only thing I've seen in there are confirmations when I invited my wife to create an account, and let her see all the profiles I created for the kids.

I think it's safe now to remove the two issues I had remaining on the Android App section on the front page.
 
Well, apparently my login problem earlier this week resulted in my linked reservation disappearing from my profile. Had to relink it through the web site...but it also let me link in two later reservations that it wouldn't let me do before.

I can't link the dining reservation my wife made, because she did it online under her account. I'll need to figure out the pitfalls of linking our accounts now :)

After I linked the reservations, I see them in the updated app.
