For anyone who has a flex account with Nationwide.

You can upgrade your free European cover to include the USA and family members.

To add 1A and 1C it cost me £50.00 in total for a year. The medical cover is £10,000000.

A new single trip policy was going to cost over £100, so saved a few dollars for extra spends.:thumbsup2

That's a good deal - although we paid less than that for cover for the two of us (single trip as we won't be going anywhere else beyond Europe this year!). Probably only worth it if there's more than 2 of you and you plan to travel outside of Europe more than once in the year.

Hubby and I each have a Nationwide flex account and hadn't realised we got basic travel ins with it - we are doing Florida in summer and skiing next Feb so will have a look and see how much it would cost us to upgrade
Thanks for the info.

I posted about this a while ago - it's a good deal. It cost £50 to upgrade to Worldwide and add DH and 3 children. I was told that this was for one year and for multi-trips.
