National way up?????

Wow I was shocked to see how much my National rate for the week of Thanksgiving has gone up. When I booked, back in March, I was able to reserve a full-size through Emerald Reserve (with codes) for a total of $109 for Nov. 19 - 25.

I've been watching for the past week, and that same rate is now up to $407!

Is that typical to see it fluctuate that much?

If so, glad I booked when I did.

I have EA reservation for April 28-May5 at $94 all inclusive. This morning I checked, $190 using the same codes and coupons.

Same for mine - my rate for early October for SUV (upgraded from full) went from $238.00 for 12 days to $411 !!! Glad I booked when I did !

Same here for 10 days in June - from $317 with continental and entertainment coupon to $490 with same codes. Yikes!

My rate has steadily climbed the last 2 weeks for our trip 4/30-5/7! Glad I locked in my $118 total rate for full size!

My rate bottomed out on April 8th at $321 (total cost) for an 11 day minivan rental using the same codes. Yesterday it was around $550+.
