National Kiosk Question

I have used the Kiosks from Alamo at MCO. Does National have Kiosks there too?

I don't believe National has kiosks. Correct me if I am wrong, my National friends. I always use Emerald Club and skip the counter/terminal area all together.

They do have a kiosk in the garage but if you have Emerald Club, you checkout at the booth at the exit. The kiosk is just there if you have questions or a problem. If you are not Emerald Club, you have to go to the counter on level 1.

So I should join the Emerald Club. Then, after retrieving my luggage from baggage claim go over to the garage where I select a car. Then drive to the garage exit to checkout with the car. Correct?

I think the OP was asking about an automated touch screen kiosk like Alamo has, not a kiosk with a human in it.

I believe but could be wrong that National has a check-in kiosk in the garage. Remembering back to when their garage counter was in its old location, I believe it had both a National and Alamo kiosk in the booth. Now with the reconfiguration of rental agencies in the garage I am not sure.

Your reservation has to be made while logged into your Emerald Club account. When you make a reservation it will say "level of service" and then counter, Emerald Aisle, or Emerald Reserve. Simply showing up in the garage with Emerald Club card in hand won't do it......

There has been mixed results in calling and getting your Emerald Club account added to an existing reservation. So, I would join emerald club, then log in and try to make a reservation. If you get the same or better rate, make that reservation and then cancel the old one. If you can't get similar rates, call National and see what they can do for you.

That said, I check my ressies regularly and cancel and rebook anytime the rates go down.....

Hmmm. So, I am not an Emerald Club member (yet) and I have already made my reservation. If I cannot go directly to a kiosk to check in, how do I bypass the counter?
