National Intermediate -- How much trunk space?

This is our first flight/car rental trip to WDW as a family. We're renting an intermediate from National & it says this is a Grand Am or similar. I am wondering from anyone who has used their vehicles, how much trunk space can I expect?

I've driven a mini-van/SUV for more than 4 years now so I can't really recall the amount of space. And, I've never tried to fit a stoller into a trunk. I am thinking we will have a Graco fold-up one as well as an umbrella. Not to mention the luggage for the 4 of us.

I will bring my kids own car seats so they will be in the back with those. How much room will we have back there to store things?

I am starting to rethink the intermediate & perhaps rent the full size. Would that offer enough storage space? If not, we're in serious trouble.

I don't know the answer to this, but I'm giving it a little bump so that somebody will see it. I would like to find out too, as I have rented the same size car.

Anybody out there know anything about this?

2 kids, luggage and 2 strollers? i would not get an intermediate.

we had 2 adults, a teen and a 2yr old and had trouble getting into a full size! we had 3 pullman suitcases, 2 duffles and a stroller. it just wasn't working.

i had reserved thru the emerald club so i went to the booth and they allowed me to take a pontiac aztec off the emerald aisle. it was fantastic.

We had an intermediate on our last trip (nothing in emerald aisle to choose from...) and it was tight. 2 adults and 1 child (10). Had 4 regular size suitcases (24") and 1 small one (21")(also 2 backpacks). My husband worked and worked and finally got all 5 bags (not the backpacks) into the trunk. Took a while turning and twisting, but did it. We usually have a full size car and there is a different. We are hoping for no more intermediates in our future.

After reading these posts, I thought a full-size vehicle would be best. I joined the Emerald Club & was hoping with the Intermediate Resv we might get a choice of larger vehicle from the Emerald Aisle.

I rechecked the price to upgrade to full size & for just under $10, I made it a done deal. Hopefully, that will accomodate all our luggage & stroller needs. Now I don't feel so pressured to pack our stuff in itty bitty suitcases.

Had I realized it was just a $10 difference & you still get the ease of Emerald Reserve & not have to use the counter, I would have done this in the first place.

Thanks for your help.
