Does anyone know if any cars in the full size aisle from national fit 6 people (3 small adults 3 small children)

The Impala we had last year would only seat 5. It had a console in between the two front seats.

You would need something that has a bench seat in the front as well as the back. If you any car seats, they would have to be in the back.

The only thing I would suggest is a minivan, but I know the price goes up quite a bit for one of those.

I'd go for the Mini van. I assume you also have luggage. We usually rent a full size and it's 3 adults, one 10 yo, 1 large suitcase, 3 reg-small suitcases and 2 backpacks. It ranges from ok to a little crowded depending. It really amazes me that they call at PT cruiser a full size. for that car, we just about had to pour ourselves into after we stopped at the grocery store on the way to the resort. LOL!

If you don't want a mini van, maybe go for a premium.

Had a National full size last month in Ohio - Buick Century. There were 2 front seats, not a bench so it only fit 5. Everything full size we saw that trip seated 5 (DS checked them ALL out before we picked one!). You MAY be ok w/ premium class, but at that point aren't you getting close to minivan rates?
Good luck!

We just got back from Orlando and had a Buick Century. We had five so we didn't need front row seating for 3, but there was an extra seat belt in the front for a 3rd person. There was a console that appeared to fold up to accomodate the 3rd person. This may not be available in all Century's however, so you might be taking a chance not being able to get seating for 6 in a full size. On our previous trip we had a Grand Prix which definately only seats 5.
