National - Emerald question

I have never booked through National before so I am kinda nervous.

How has everyone's experience been with finding a car they need/like in the Emerald section? There will be 5 of us so I will definitely need atleast a full size car.

I used National for the first time last week. I decided to book the full size because I didn't want to take the extra chance. We found a few minivans in the full size aisle.

depends, you are only guaranteed the minimum specs for midsize (as stated on National's site) for Em Aisle.

I know flyertalk site has a thread, think i saw one here (do a search) as to what's been found on 'the aisle' @ MCO (note there are both emerald & executive aisles, which does tend to have nicer selections due to upgrade to full size).

As previously posted, you are only guaranteed the mid-size when you book Emerald Aisle, but there can be upgrades. My two experiences at MCO yielded me a Full Size and a Minivan using EA.

I have used EA in a few other places and there are upgrades available, but it can be hit or miss.

If you absolutely need a full size or larger, you should reserve that class of car.
