National coupon question

I have been trying to get Nationals $15 off weekend coupon to work but it wont take it. I am picking up on Friday and returning on Monday. I have tried every combination but nothing works. I thought maybe the coupon limit has been reached (although it did not say that), so I tried using random weekend dates and it doesnt work.
Has anyone had any luck with this code (ND35)?

when are you going....

the national coupons seem to have capacity controls in place now, thus, even if they are still valid dates for using them, they may not work for your particular dates....

the 30$ off coupon has not been working for october and november , but does work for december....


you should also see if you cannot locate an entertainment free weekend day coupon ( nf60 )

not knowing your dates, but, that is why it is necessary to keep checking your rates, the rental rates are constantly changing and capacity controls maybe lifted

for our october dates of 16 - 23, when i just put in the 30 coupon code it came back .....

Please verify that you have entered the correct information.

Your coupon cannot be applied to this reservation.

thus, not all dates in october accept the coupon.....


we even found last month that booking the rental on the half hour brought up a cheaper rate than doing it on the full hour ( at least one of the times had to be on the half hour for this to happen )

I am having the exact problem and just called in to both National and Alamo and they said they are at capacity.

I never got the $30 coupon to use for my October trip either. I tried the first time they released it. My dates are Oct. 14-26. I have successfully used my Oops coupon. This was the $20 coupon that National sent out a couple of times when their system was screwie and the screen would come up saying they were experiencing difficulties and to accept this $20 coupon. It seems to work well. I used it in August with no problem and have it on my October reservation too. I would love the $30 one, but the $20 coupon at least seems to work.

The National coupons have been at capacity for a lot of dates for some time, now. This week, I've seen a few new Alamo coupons that seem to work for Columbus Day week and I've seen others posting success for other travel periods. I've also found that base rates at Alamo are significantly lower than National.

It's not that the coupon doesn't work anywhere - it worked for me for Santa Barbara next weekend - just that Orlando hits the limit for certain coupons.

Thanks for the info. I was able to use the nf60 code (now I just have to find my Entertainment book, its around here somewhere).
We leave this friday, so it is short notice but every dollar off helps.
With the nf60 coupon, it brought it down to $47.96 for the 3 days.
