I just returned from my Minivan rental with this coupon upgrade and AAA discount. I rented from FLL 6/24 to 6/28 and had no problems. I paid 158.60 for the mini van. I hope it works that good for me for my October Trip. Michelle

Just picked up mine in Atlanta today! I thought I'd have to explain my life away but everything was cool. They even let me run from van to van to decide which one I wanted! It was like the EI without the airpor! I rent from a site very near my home...

While I was there a somewhat desparate young man came in requesting a minivan. He was told they were ALL rented and there were at least 5 of them out there. I felt so bad for him because he was travelling with 7 people and it will be just me and my son and uncle....

Oh well... I enjoyed riding it here to work! Hope it does as well on that 8 hour drive to Orlando!

Just returned from our trip June 24-July 2 minivan for 9 days $160. It took maybe an extra 10 minutes when we picked up the car to get the paperwork straightened out but well worth it. We had a Kia Sorento and loved it. Thanks everyone for the help!!

I returned my van 7/5 and got a $23 deduction on my bill! LOVED the Kia Sorrento! No problems the entire time, drove great and my whole group loved all the room.

The coupon worked!! Total for 4 days minivan $84 vs $220 without it, Yeah!!
Had no problems, they did not ask for anything, gave me the keys for the Van and of we went. Had a Dodge Minivan. Dropped it off today and no problems.

Ok, I signed into the Emerald Club, put in the AAA code, put in the coupon code....and it gives me a rate of $353.03 for a 4-door full size from Oct. 19-Oct. 24. That doesn't seem right! What am I doing wrong?

Hmmmm....I choose a compact and it is showing me a rate of a full size for $339.00.

Well, I found that I can use Contract ID 5125601 (I think that is AMEX), Rate Code B39401, and Coupon Code 10009416 and reserve a full size at National (checking off the compact car and getting the upgrade with the coupon) for $104.95 (total $136.27 with tax) for my dates October 20 - 24. That is the best I have found.

I don't remember, does National charge to add your spouse as a driver? Or, is that service free?

Quick question if I have my car reserved with the mistake of the Minivan and I pick it up 2 hours earlier then time stated do you think it'll be a big deal? Of course when I call to change it they tell me that it shouldn't be a minivan blah blah blah.

I don't think it'll be a problem but be aware of potential rate changes. I got a fantastic deal minivan using the coupon and my AAA code ($278 total for 12 days). When I returned the car, they gave me a receipt for $695. I went to the counter and the agent, who was very nice, explained first that he'd fix it and then told me that my pick-up time was 12:01pm (vs 11:45am on my reservation) and it kicked it into a different category. Apparently noon and midnight are cut-offs for National. They never even asked for the coupon or my AAA card so that went fine. You may want to ask if the rate will change, other than possibly for the couple of hours, when you pick up.
