Anyone have any problems using the contract code 5760333 on emerald aisle reserve? Do they ask for ID or just your driver license and away you go?

Nice code, any clue where it's from?
National, Alamo and Enterprise are pretty good about accepting codes. Thrifty and Dollar are the worst.
If your going to use that code and don't know where it came from, I suggest making a back up reservation with another rental car company other than Alamo or Enterprise.
Good Luck All,
Joe

According to a post (from 09) on Flyertalk that code is a travel agent code. You might be asked for ID and includes LDW which is very risky. If you get in an accident and can't prove your affiliation with the company (which is who insurance is through) then you will be in trouble. This info came from flyertalk as stated. You must decide if it is worth risk. People have been asked for ID when returning cars so just because you bypass counter on way doesn't mean you won't be asked on return. Also, if you can't prove rate will go way up.

Posts for "questionable" codes that have specific identification requirements (ie. unlikely that most posters on the DIS are travel agents) are prohibited on the DIS.
