Hi,
We have used National in the UK and were quite happy, but I am trying to find out if anyone has any information about how it works in Florida?
I have read about the Emerald club and tried to join but couldn't as I have a UK address, has anyone gotten round this, and is it worth having?
Do they charge a deposit when you collect the car?
Is the service any good?
Are they onsite?
Do you get stung for a large fuel deposit?
Lots of things worrying me at the moment, it is the only bit of the trip that is bothering me, everything else is sorted, but because this is a new one on me, I am uneasy.
We used Dollar on our only other trip and spent 5 months trying to get the fuel charges back, we refused them at collection and then returned the car full to the brim, but still got charged over $70 for fuel!
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
