Just back - Used National's Emerald Reserve for a fullsize $117 for the week. The pickings were slim. We chose an Impala with 18K miles. NICE RIDE! Very impressed with it. There were 2 of them and 1 electric blue PT cruiser. Kids wanted the cruiser but we are a family of 5 and it would have been tight! The emerald Aisle had 1 Red PT cruiser and 3 Aleros. That's it. I didn't see any vans or SUV's. The rows were empty. Even the Executive row had very little. Oh well.........we got a great car. Lots of room and great pick up. VROOOOOOM!
Minor Rant: VERY FEW of the garage employees spoke english. I have nothing against ESL people but dont put them at a job that requires answering questions or giving information. When I asked one attendant if there were more cars elsewhere in the lot she looked at me blankly and said:
"My English is no good. I sorry" ARGGGGGGGGG!
All in all National was EASY! Watch out though. They charge $5/gallon for gas.
Dont forget to fill it up before you return it.

They tried to charge me extra for gas last time and I only drove to/from the airport!! I was telling them, "Why would I put gas in it if the needle didn't move??"
I'll use it more this next trip so I'll make sure to gas up before returning it.
