Natick, MA DIS Store Moving!

The Disney Store in Natick, MA, the only free standing DIS store outside of Orlando is moving next door into the Natick Mall in March. I'm not sure if this has been discussed here. I was in there yesterday and I believe they said the date of the move would be either March 8 or 10. There will be no more art gallary and less square footage. That's a shame as this was a real unique store with a lot of character.

They were not as of yesterday but one would think that might happen as they will have less retail space than they do now.

Forgot the most important part: When it closes in March, it's not reopening until October!!!!

I was at the Natick store today. There are some things on sale, some christmas and valentines items. They also had PJs, kids fleece tops and t-shirts, adult t-shirts and sweatshirts on sale. I noticed that there were some small purses and other princess items, most things ranged from 25 - 75% off. Most of the sale items are in the back of the store. A CM told me that nothing else was going to be marked down, the remaining merchandise would be sent to other stores. She also told me that they would be moving into the spot that is currently Old Navy Kids. My DS and I will miss this store.

What a bummer! I love going there! It's a wonderful store!

I wonder what they'll do with all the art gallary stuff?

I have to wait till October?

Oh no, that's my store! At least the one we go to the most. I wonder if the one at the Solomon Pond Road mall will stay?

That plaza where the DS is hasn't had good luck in keeping stores!

I'll have to try to get there next week...thanks for the info!
