Thank you, Pages (all of you) for being such an inspiration to everyone else on the board. Your courage, poise and class under what has to be some of the most difficult of situations is an example to us all.

I'm so sorry for your loss that I can't even find the words to adequately express how I feel, but when I think of you all and Nathan, mostly what comes to mind is the gratitude that you expressed because had him in your lives for as long as you did and it makes ME grateful that you shared him here with us as well. I'm sorry if that sounds awkward and I don't want to minimize your tremendous loss but I just wanted to thank you for all that WE have gained by knowing your entire family even just a short time.

We read this from our hotel on Christmas, and we have just returned from our family Christmas vacation. We gathered together as a family, and we remembered our dad, whom we lost this past summer. In our moments of rememberance and grief, we also prayed for you and your family. I passed your story on to my family. Our hearts were and are breaking for you.

Thank you so much for your very first post on these boards, which gave us an opportunity to get to know you and your family.

Each time I think of your story and that picture of Nate on the beach, it makes me smile.

Dear Page family,

I can only try to imagine the loss you have suffered. I know lots of caring folks have pointed out that Nate is better now, with a new body and in the presence of God. That is true, and you know it, but you have lost your precious boy, and not matter how you look at it, you can no longer hold him. Please know that I am praying for Nate and for you and your family to come through this grief. I know too well about grief. So my heart is with you.

I know Nate was a beautiful boy, who had great happiness in his life. I am so glad you were able to take him on the Disney cruise when you did. I know it was from that time on he was sick. It helps me to think of how happy Nate was in the pictures I saw of him.

God needed a special angel at Jesus' Birthday this year.
