It's getting near the time to reserve our excursion and I'm up in the air on which to do. It's going to just be me and my two daughters, ages 7 and 8 by that time, and I am between the Atlantis tour and the Blue Lagoon excursion. Any suggestions?

Oops...one more question which might help make my decision...I see that we would get a coupon to the snack bar at Atlantis and if we were to go to the Blue Lagoon it would be lunch at the Sea Garden Grille. Which is the better place to eat?

We did the Atlantis and the coupon was for a hamburger joint. It was OK but kinda greasy. The Atlantis property is beautiful though so it made up for it.

Enjoy!

Several people have mentioned coupons, where do you get them from?

We did the Blue lagoon excursion. We enjoyed it alot. The food was basically picnic style. The only thing that we didn't like was the punch. We must have had a really bad batch, because it was horrible! Others have said it was fine. I also don't remember any kind of dessert. Order chocolate chip cookies from room service and take them along!

Blue Lagoon is very pretty with nice beach to play on and shallow, very blue water for swimming. If you take a walk you will see some other beautiful beaches, some others there is no swimming do to rocks but they were spectacular.

We just got back from trip and Lunch was hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken or ribs plus fries rice and vege. Nothing outstanding but satisfying

I thought Atlantis was beautiful, but with a 6 year old, a senior, and FIL with a bad knee, we found it to be a lot of walking. By the end of the excursion we decided to pay extra for a taxi to take us back to the ship. JMHO

There were Kyacks to rent and also a store and a lady selling straw market type items.

I guess I didn't mention it earlier, we enjoyed the snorkeling. It was our first time. You walk in from a sand beach to a very rocky area. It was had to walk with flippers on and I really didn't like to walk in my bare feet so I wore water shoes and left the flippers on the beach. There were lots of little critters to watch close to shore in the sand and the rocks.
